Our story

Join us in our second decade
as we go from strength to strength

Our story began in 2003. Professor Paramala Santosh, a child and adolescent psychiatrist and Professor Paul Gringras, a neurodevelopmental and sleep paediatrician were frustrated with the lack of useful, usable child-centered outcome tools. Most were proxy measures, inconsistently completed by parents about children.

The two founders, determined to change things, were successful in a small pilot grant from Guys and St Thomas’ Charity in 2003, and this is when HealthTracker™ was born. HealthTracker™ was spun out in 2012 as a small medium enterprise (SME) and limited company. The founders worked for Guys and St Thomas Foundation NHS Trust (GSTT) and Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Trust (GOSH), and these two hospitals receive a revenue share.
